The lead works in Goslar were founded in 1906, close to Rammelsberg lead ore mine.
JL Goslar GmbH resulted from a merger of the companies Bleiwerk Goslar, Metallwerk Goslar and Neue Apparatebau Goslar with Bleiindustrie, formerly Jung + Lindig Hamburg.
JL Goslar today combines the know-how of these four companies, each with a rich tradition and history. Currently, the company has 260 employees working on several sites.
